Tafsir was presented as the main expositor in Tafsirul Quran Mahfil by internationally renowned exegete, renowned "Muhaddis" of Madinatul Uloom Kamil Madrasa and respected "Khatib" of New Town Central Jame Masjid, Dr. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Basar.
Tafseer presented by Shaikhul Arab Mufti Aminul Islam Arefi (Imam and Khatib, Masjid-e-Amer Alwan, Jeddah City Corporation) Saudi Arabia as a special commentator. Maulana Mufti Mizanur Rahman, principal of Tamirul Millat Mahila Kamil Madrasa, Maulana Muhammad Jamaluddin Azhari, founder and director of Al-Quran Institute, Maulana Md. Mujahidul Islam, honorable khatib of Baitul Aman Jame Masjid, presented more commentary.
Eminent social worker and business leader Alhaj Jalal Ahmed Hawladar was present as the chief guest in Tafsirul Quran Mahfil held under the chairmanship of successful organizer Mr. Neshar Uddin Ahmed. Maulana Motasim Billah, Senior Vice-President of New Town Central Jame Masjid conducted the Mahfil.
Principal Maulana Bayezid Hasan, prominent journalist Mirza Md Helal, the Editor of Dainik Kaler Katha Khwaja Masum Bellah Kausarey, Chairman of Faith Point Hospital Mohammad Mohiuddin Jamil, Director of voluntary organization SEDRO Dr. Delwar Jahan Imran were present as special guests.
Among others, honorable members of Newtown Society, Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam (Nannu), Md. Ashiqur Rahman, GM Imam Hossain Imon, Sirajul Islam Khan, Md. Jinnatul Islam, Mominul Islam, Maulana Nazmul Hasan, Md. Sharif Ullah, Mao Md Farooq, Md Farhaduzzaman, Md Tajul Islam, Nazmul Islam Rashed, Kamrul Hasan Shipon, Shamim Ahmed, Md. Sahidullah, Ohiduzzaman etc.
One of the highlights of the mahfil was the mesmerizing Islamic music performed by a unique group of artists. Md. Jasimuddin Sikder, joint convener of Newtown Society, organized the mahfil held in a religious spirit and in a festive atmosphere.
The first annual Tafsirul Qur'an Mahfil 2024 was completed in a beautiful and orderly manner under the overall supervision of Newtown Society Member Secretary Md. Abu Zafar.
